Christmas Books Everyone Needs to Read

Hey, Nerdy Peeps! Today I’m bringing you all the books I love to read during Christmas time. Now, I don’t have kiddos, but I still love reading all of these books. This post is also in collaboration with the wonderful Zoey at Zoey-Valuated! She is bringing you a post on 7 No-No’s When Spending the Holidays With Your In-Laws!

Christmas Books Everyone Needs to Read

I picked books that are mainly for kiddos, but they are the ones I loved the most growing up.

Book #1

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I love this book! I also love the movie, but the book will always have a special place in my heart. I love books where someone is an outcast and hates the Christmas season, but soon turns their heart around. Of course, it’s also by one of my favorite authors.

Book #2

The Snowman by Raymond Briggs

A beautiful book told through pictures! I love this book so much!

Book #3

The Christmas Wish by Lori Evert

Now, what child doesn’t wish to be one of Santa’s elves? I know I would love to be one of his elves. I love following the journey Anja goes on to get to Santa. This is a definite read for Christmas!

Book #4

The Polar Express

Did you really think I would leave out one of the classics? Come on now, you know me better than that. I can’t leave out one of the best Christmas stories out there, especially when it involves a train and a trip to the North Pole. Everyone needs to read this classic.

Last but certainly not least Book #5

The one book you all have probably been waiting for…

The Night Before Christmas

Christmas Books Everyone Needs to Read

The perfect story for any age. My momma read this book to me and my siblings every Christmas Eve and it was the most amazing story I have ever heard. This is the best book to read to get in the Christmas morning spirit.

If you want to start Christmas Traditions with books these are the top 5 I would start with! Let me know what your favorite Christmas books are? I’d love to add to my collections!
