Hey Nerdy Peeps! I’ve changed up my to be read list, and let me tell ya, 2018 is going to be full of some exciting reads! Plus, I am going to start adding in the audiobooks I listen to. So, grab some frosted cookies, and let’s get on with my list!
Books I’m Reading in 2018
E-Books, audiobooks, physical books galore! I am going to have so much fun with all these adventures. Some may even be naughty!
The Billionaire’s Christmas (The Sinclair’s 0.5) by J.S. Scott
I love, love, love J.S. Scott, and all of her books! I have been wanting to here Grady’s story and this book is perfect. J.S. Scott didn’t disappoint with this one, I can’t wait to finish it and give you a review. Y’all are gonna love it!
Wonder by R.J. Palacio
If you haven’t picked this book up yet, you are missing out. This book will have you laughing, crying, and feeling all the feels. I have not been able to put this book down, and you won’t be able to either. Palacio makes you fall in love with all the characters and puts your heart smack dab in the middle of the pages. You need to read this. Way before you see the movie! Review coming soon!
Six: A Men of the Strip Anthology by Various Authors (including some of my faves!)
Male strippers! That is all you need to know! Oh. and there’s six of them. You can check out my review of one of the stories here: Sin
Now onto the TBR books…
I don’t have a particular order for these books, so I’m just going to list them.
Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
Book blurb snippet: The Voss family is anything but normal. They live in a repurposed church, newly baptized Dollar Voss. The once cancer-stricken mother lives in the basement, the father is married to the mother’s former nurse, the little half-brother isn’t allowed to do or eat anything fun, and the eldest siblings are irritatingly perfect. Then, there’s Merit.
Everless by Sara Holland
Book blurb snippet: In the kingdom of Sempera, time is currency—extracted from blood, bound to iron, and consumed to add time to one’s own lifespan. The rich aristocracy, like the Gerlings, tax the poor to the hilt, extending their own lives by centuries.
The List by Siobhan Vivian
Book blurb snippet: It happens every year. A list is posted, and one girl from each grade is chosen as the prettiest, and another is chosen as the ugliest. Nobody knows who makes the list. It almost doesn’t matter. The damage is done the minute it goes up.
99 Days by Katie Cotugno
Book blurb snippet: Day 4: A nasty note on my windshield makes it clear Julia isn’t finished. I’m expecting a fight when someone taps me on the shoulder, but it’s just Gabe, home from college and actually happy to see me. “For what it’s worth, Molly Barlow,” he says, “I’m really glad you’re back.”
Three Dark Crowns (Three Dark Crowns, #1) by Kendare Blake
Book blurb snippet: But becoming the Queen Crowned isn’t solely a matter of royal birth. Each sister has to fight for it. And it’s not just a game of win or lose…it’s life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins.
What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dressen
Book blurb snippet: Estranged from her mother and her mother’s new family, McLean has followed her dad in leaving the unhappy past behind. And each new place gives her a chance to try out a new persona: from cheerleader to drama diva.
Stolen: A Letter to My Captor by Lucy Christopher
Book blurb snippet: Sixteen-year-old Gemma is kidnapped from Bangkok airport and taken to the Australian Outback. This wild and desolate landscape becomes almost a character in the book, so vividly is it described. Ty, her captor, is no stereotype. He is young, fit and completely gorgeous. This new life in the wilderness has been years in the planning. He loves only her, wants only her. Under the hot glare of the Australian sun, cut off from the world outside, can the force of his love make Gemma love him back?
So, there ya have it! My reading list for the start of 2018. Trust me, there are a lot more books on my list, but these are at the top.
What is on you 2018 TBR? I love finding new books to add to my ever-growing list!
