Book Review for The Charitable Bastard

Hey Nerdy Peeps! Here comes a review. Jessica McCrory brings us an amazing edge of your seat romance that you don’t want to miss out on. So, grab some popcorn and let’s get on with the sexy goodness that is The Charitable Bastard!

The Charitable Bastard

Well, Harley was supposed to arrest the bad guys, not fall for the fiance. Jessica did an amazing job of packing everything you want into a book. It had suspense. love, action, and crime. I mean hello that’s the perfect combination for a book you don’t want to put down. An added bonus was that Harley was drop dead sexy! Now, I wasn’t a big fan of this Clayton character, he was a butt and I don’t like him.  He took advantage of poor Norah which made me mad because she was so sweet. I mean how could someone do that to somebody! But, thanks to the handsome Harley he saves miss Norah from Clayton’s Hell.

This book has so many twists and turns that you can’t help but keep turning the page. It’s a book that will keep you up way past your bedtime. Now, the awesome thing is there’s a book number 2 coming out and it’s about… Well, I’m not spoiling that, but you can check out the cover reveal for The Runner’s Daughter, I think you will find it absolutely amazing!

I have always had a love of stories and the different worlds you are able to explore when you crack open the cover to a good book.”

I was born in California and moved to Texas with my family when I was a teenager. I have always been an avid reader and have been writing stories since I was a kid! It has always been a dream of mine to have my stories published and it is beyond exciting to see that dream coming true!

I have a caffeine addiction, I am a wine (red!!) lover (my favorite being Crush by Dreaming Tree!) and I love T-shirts (the kind with the hilarious sayings on them). I am OBSESSED with the TV show Scrubs and I watch it constantly. I have an amazing husband who is more supportive than I could have ever hoped for, two sweet kiddos (who keep my life wonderfully eventful), three dogs, a rabbit, and most recently Hefty Smurf the beta fish.

Growing up, reading was my way to escape reality whether it was good or bad at the time and I want my stories to offer readers the same kind of adventure I have sought out in between the covers of a book.
