What’s on My Bookshelf?

Day 16 of the Writing Challenge is, “3 books on your bookshelf.” So, I  wanted to share what’s on my bookshelf with all of you!

What’s on My Bookshelf?

I decided to pick out a to be read, a genre I haven’t read in a while, and my devotional.

What's on My Bookshelf?
Book #1

Revelry By: Kandi Steiner

I just love this book’s blurb and the cover is gorgeous! This book is also on my Summer Reading List, and I am planning on reading it once I am done with my current read. I am also hoping this book will help me with some things I am dealing with in my life at the moment!

Book snippet:
Sometimes getting lost is the way to find yourself. Sometimes healing only adds a new scar. And sometimes the last place you expected to be is exactly where you find home.

Book #2

Moon Called By: Patricia Briggs

This is a book in the adult paranormal genre, and I haven’t read a book in this drama in a while. This genre used to be my go-to all time favorite, but I have strayed away from it lately. The cover and blurb pulled me in and I can’t wait to dive into this book! It is also on my to be read list! Also, who doesn’t like a book with all kinds of supernatural characters!

Book Snippet:
She also happens to be a walker, a magical being with the power to shift into a coyote at will. Mercy’s next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she’s fixing a bus for a vampire.

Book #3

Live Original Devotional By: Sadie Robertson

I have picked up this book quite a few times, thinking I really need to do this to get me back to my faith. Every time I pick it up I don’t even get past the first page. Now, with some things going on in my life I feel like this book is needed to help me with everything going on. So, I am really looking forward to starting and finishing this devotional soon!

I am currently reading Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, and I just finished reading Unholy Ghost: Writers on Depression edited by Nell Casey. The next book that I plan to read is The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I’m a writer, and I devour books at a fast rate. I haven’t read the books you posted about, so I’ll have to look into those. It’s nice to connect with you.
